Our Freeze Dried Jumbo Krill Superba are the largest freeze dried treat in our lineup, averaging 1.5 to 2 inches in length and perfectly sized for large mouth predator species that find smaller treats unsatisfying. Carefully handled during processing and dried under low heat to preserve the natural flavors, nutrients, and carotenoid content that make krill so irresistible to fish and other aquatic life.

Natural Color Enhancement Krill Superba are exceptionally rich in natural astaxanthin and other carotenoids averaging 150 to 200 ppm, making them one of the most effective natural color enhancing foods available for both freshwater and marine species. Regular use as part of a varied diet helps bring out and intensify natural coloration without artificial dyes or additives.

A Natural Feeding Stimulant Krill are widely recognized as one of the most effective foods for enticing finicky or reluctant feeders. The natural flavors preserved through our low heat drying process make them virtually irresistible, even to fish that turn their nose up at other foods. A great tool for getting newly acquired or stressed fish eating confidently.

Whole Krill and Siftings Available as whole individual jumbo krill and as Siftings when available. Siftings are the smaller pieces and fine particles left behind during packaging, suitable for medium sized species that cannot manage a full sized jumbo krill. Siftings are available in limited quantities so check back periodically.

How to Feed Always rehydrate krill in a small amount of tank water for a few minutes before feeding to avoid digestive issues and improve palatability. For an added health boost try soaking in a small amount of garlic juice to support immune function and entice even the most reluctant feeders. Feed only what can be consumed within a few minutes and remove any uneaten portions promptly to maintain water quality. Use as a treat alongside a balanced staple diet rather than as a primary food source.

A Note on Allergies Krill is a shellfish product. Individuals with shellfish allergies should handle with care, avoid inhaling dust when opening the bag, and wash hands thoroughly after handling.

Storage Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Reseal the mylar bag tightly after each use to maintain freshness and prevent moisture from entering.
