Shell Envy provides a mineral-based supplementary food designed to help shrimp develop thick and healthy carapaces. The carapace plays an integral role in their anatomy by protecting their vital organs. It also enhances appearance. As shrimp grow, they shed the outer shell layer, and by offering this mineral-based supplemental food you can ensure there is no shortage of essential nutrients needed for shells to harden properly and beautifully. Avoid overfeeding! Too high mineral content in the diet can lead to molting issues.
The pellet food is easy to break apart, allowing you control of the amount fed to the shrimp.
Instructions: Feed 1-2 small pellets once a week depending on colony size in place of other foods. Remove any uneaten food after 2-3 hours.
