Freeze Dried Jumbo Krill Superba & Siftings

Description

Freeze Dried Krill Superba are jumbo sized; and average 1.5 to 2 inch in length. Perfect for larger predator species, such as cichlids.  Krill Superba are a rich source of carotenoids that help to highlight coloring naturally in both marine and freshwater inhabitants. Carefully handled during the drying process and processed under low heat maintains the natural flavorants found in krill as well as their nutrients.

Krill are often used to entice the finicky fish into eating as it is well received. Before offering any freeze dried product we recommend rehydrating to avoid digestive issues. Many soak in garlic juice for the added health benefits of garlic in boosting the immune system.

Krill Siftings are pieces and other material that we remove while packaging.  Siftings will be available in various sizes once we collect enough.  Check back periodically or check our other freeze dried listings to see if we have been able to collect enough siftings to package.
