Our Krill Flake is produced using a low temperature processing method that most competing flake foods skip entirely. This matters because astaxanthin, the natural carotenoid responsible for enhancing red, orange, and pink coloration in fish, degrades significantly when exposed to high heat during processing. By processing at lower temperatures we preserve more of the natural astaxanthin and other heat sensitive nutrients in their most bioavailable form, delivering 250ppm astaxanthin alongside 1,750ppm Vitamin C in every feeding. The result is a thick, water stable flake that holds together in the water rather than dissolving into waste.

A Diverse Zooplankton Base The foundation of this formula is fresh frozen whole zooplankton, a diverse blend of marine organisms including krill, calanoid copepods, and other zooplankton species that naturally carry high levels of astaxanthin, essential fatty acids, and complete amino acid profiles.
