A Sweet Fruity Treat for Omnivores, Herbivores, and Frugivores

Repashy Banana Cream Pie is a vitamin and mineral rich fruit based treat formula featuring banana, mango, date, honey, and watermelon as primary ingredients. Designed for omnivores, herbivores, and frugivores across multiple animal groups, it makes an excellent occasional treat that adds variety and enrichment to the diet of aquarium fish, reptiles, and amphibians alike. Note that Banana Cream Pie is not formulated as a complete diet but can be mixed with other Repashy formulas to create a more complete meal, or used on its own as an enriching treat.

Three Ways to Serve Banana Cream Pie offers three preparation options depending on the species and feeding style of your animals:

As a Gel: The standard aquarium preparation method. Mix powder with water, allow to set, then cut into cubes, shred, or serve as a whole slab. Treat the finished gel as fresh food and store sealed in the refrigerator for up to two weeks or in the freezer for up to six months.

As a Paste: Adjust the powder to water ratio to create a thick paste and feed immediately. Ideal for reptiles and amphibians that prefer a softer food format.

As a Smoothie: Mix with room temperature water to desired consistency and serve immediately. A great option for species that prefer liquid or semi liquid foods.

How to Prepare the Gel Ratio is one part powder to three parts water, using 1/4 cup powder to 3/4 cup water as a starting point. Adjust water quantity to achieve your preferred gel firmness.

Microwave method: Measure water into a heat safe container. Heat until water begins to boil. Add powder and mix well. Let sit at room temperature until gelled, approximately 2 hours.

Stovetop method: Bring water to a boil in a pot. Remove from heat. Add powder and mix well. Immediately pour into a storage container or mold and let sit at room temperature until firm.

Storage Store unused powder at room temperature in a cool dry location away from moisture. Refrigerate any prepared gel and use within two weeks, or freeze for up to six months.
