A Seasonal Treat You Can Only Get Once a Year
Repashy Pumpkin Pie is a limited edition seasonal omnivore formula built around over 60% real USA grown dehydrated pumpkin. Unlike standard year round formulas, Pumpkin Pie is only available during the winter months and sells out quickly each season. The pumpkin base delivers natural beta carotene for color support alongside whey protein isolate, whole dried egg, and black soldier fly larvae for a well rounded omnivore nutritional profile.
Who Are They For? Pumpkin Pie is a genuinely versatile formula that works across multiple animal groups. For aquarium keepers it makes an excellent food for goldfish, koi, Mbuna cichlids, Oscars, Uaru, Leporinus, and other omnivorous fish. Herbivorous fish that do not normally eat high protein foods can enjoy this as an occasional treat since the pumpkin base keeps the protein level moderate at 20%. For reptile and amphibian keepers it is ideal for bearded dragons, Red Foot Tortoises, geckos, tegus, and other omnivorous species.
Important Note for Aquarium Use For aquatic species offer Pumpkin Pie as a gel or jerky only. The slurry and paste preparation methods are suitable for land animals only and should not be used in an aquarium as they will quickly pollute the water.
Three Ways to Serve
As a Gel: The standard preparation method for both aquatic and land species. Mix powder with water, allow to set, then cut into cubes, shred, or serve as a whole slab. Treat the finished gel as fresh food and store sealed in the refrigerator for up to two weeks or in the freezer for up to six months.
As a Jerky: Suitable for both aquatic and land species. Prepare the gel as normal, pour into a deep container, slice into quarter inch thick pieces, and dry completely in an oven or dehydrator at 150 degrees F for 8 to 12 hours.
As a Smoothie or Paste: For land animals only. Mix 1 part powder to 1.5 to 2 parts water. Once cooled serve to land based pets. Do not use this preparation method for aquatic species.
How to Prepare the Gel Ratio is one part powder to three parts water, using 1/4 cup powder to 3/4 cup water as a starting point. Adjust water quantity to achieve your preferred firmness.
Microwave method: Measure water into a heat safe container. Heat until water begins to boil. Add powder and mix well. Let sit at room temperature until gelled, approximately 2 hours.
Stovetop method: Bring water to a boil in a pot. Remove from heat. Add powder and mix well. Immediately pour into a storage container or mold and let sit at room temperature until firm.
Storage Store unused powder at room temperature in a cool dry location away from moisture. Refrigerate any prepared gel and use within two weeks, or freeze for up to six months.
